Martín and Jano, two childhood friends, reunite after Jano is released from prison with a clear goal: to go to the United States and find opportunities. Meanwhile, Adolfo, their third friend, is already living in the United States. Martín feels guilty about his friendship with Jano, since Jano turned himself in to the police to protect them, and Martín follows him in his criminal activities. At the same time, Martín meets Pedro Hidalgo, an aging painter from Lima, who, struggling with drugs and alcohol, is trying to escape obscurity.
