Jhon lives in Miraflores, Apurímac. His parents arrived there along with other displaced people during the Internal Armed Conflict that Peru experienced between 1980 and 2000. The new generations of Miraflores residents are reaping what their parents forged in these lands, amidst fear and hope, and thus, they are building a collective memory that strengthens their identities and their lives.
