A young couple moves to the village of Frontón Bajo, but the locals, especially the village leader, are uneasy about their arrival. The problems begin when land traffickers try to force them to sell their land, and when they resist, the traffickers kidnap the leader's daughter to coerce them. Little do they know that the neighbor they once despised will now become their defender.
