Julio César, an amateur tarot reader who makes a living driving a taxi in Lima, discovers his teenage daughter's pregnancy and embarks on a perilous journey of transformation. Along the way, he encounters a young prostitute, an enigmatic nurse, and his beloved football club, and he ultimately understands that while he doesn't control his destiny, he can find his salvation.
