Featuring interviews with historians, cloistered nuns, and specialists in Lima and Rome, the documentary "A Rose for the World" tells the story of Saint Rose of Lima and explores her enduring presence in our lives through the testimonies of people who have found in her example a model for living in the 21st century. It also showcases never-before-seen footage of the saint's most precious relics, which have been kept for 400 years in two cloistered monasteries in Lima.
El documental muestra la presencia de Santa Rosa de Lima en ciudades como Madrid, Montreal, Nueva York, Hong Kong, Roma, Sittard (Holanda), Buenos Aires, Toronto y Lima. Se han incorporado en el film animaciones en 3D y efectos digitales.
