María and the fishermen weave their dreams like a net that life, like the ocean current, will inevitably toss and turn. For María, the art of fishing is part of her very being. When Juan, her husband, leaves the cove to work in industrial fishing, the price María pays for her dreams is loneliness. Rosa, a pragmatic and insatiable woman, is moved by María's defiant attitude; the moon is sister to the sun, and loneliness is sister to madness. Then, the inhabitants of the cove see something ominous in María.
