Through conversations with her grandmother, her mother, and her domestic staff, the filmmaker explores the life and work of her grandfather, Bernardo Batievsky, a progressive Peruvian filmmaker who emerged in the 1970s. "Tell Me About Bia" presents these intimate moments, revealing the life of the late filmmaker, interspersed with scenes from Batievsky's films and home videos, and glimpses into his daily life.

ENTREVISTA
Andrea Franco dirige su segundo largometraje, Cuéntame de Bia, un documental dedicado a la vida y obra de su abuelo, Bernardo Batievsky, reconocido empresario y productor peruano en los años 70. Batievsky es conocido por haber producido el largometraje Espejismo de Armando Robles Godoy, además de sus cortos “Cementerio de elefantes”, “Via satélite: en vivo y en directo”, “Oro y barro”, “Mosaico limeño”, entre otros. Además dirigió el filme “Cholo”, protagonizado por el entonces archipopular futbolista Hugo “Cholo” Sotil. También fue productor de “Fantasías”, dirigido por Efraín ‘Betito’ Aguilar, con Adolfo Chuiman de protagonista.
