Miguel Ochavano is a shipibo shaman that lives in Pucallpa, capital of Ucayalli, in the Peruvian Amazon. After two years apart from his native community of Paoyhán, he decides to see with his own eyes how the floods caused by the river level rise have impacted his family. The floods are becoming increasingly intense year after year, affecting local fisherman communities in the Peruvian jungle as a consequence of climate change. This story tells, through Miguel’s journey and his spiritual perspective, how we relate to each other.
